Course Description

Engaging in cultural awareness training enables individuals to value the wealth of diversity and cultivate meaningful connections across various cultures.

This in-depth 4-hour workshop explains the impact discrimination, racism and lack of cultural understanding has had on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This training looks at people’s cultural beliefs, values and how world-views influence thinking, behaviours and interactions with others. It highlights the continuation of inequality and social injustice.
