Building Resilience Program 

Delivery mode: Self-paced e-Learning with one online classroom per unit.

All tutorials and workshops are conducted by multiple experienced trainers.

Duration: The expected duration of this course is over a 3-month period, consisting of one unit of competency per month. 

What you’ll pay: Virtual classroom for only $695 + GST per person. Flexible payment plans available. Groups of eight + might be eligible for a special discount.

A Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital (LLND) Assessment will be required to be completed prior to acceptance into the program. It is recommended you have basic skills and access to a computer.

The program structure is made up of three units of competency. All units successfully completed will be awarded a Statement of Attainment.

We have a RPL process in place for students who want to apply for recognition of their existing skills and knowledge relevant to the units of competencies within the relevant accredited training program. Students may have achieved these skills and knowledge form previous qualification, formal training or workplace training or experience. This may reduce the number of units to be completed for the course of choice.

Course Description

This Program provides a set of skills from three units of competency which support resilience for workers within the community and health sector. Learning outcomes in the unit of competencies include:

    • Recognise stress and triggers in your own role;
    • Identify strategies to effectively prevent, reduce and manage stress;
    • Undertake self-evaluation with supervisors/peers;
    • Create a self-development plan that sets realistic goals and targets;
    • Apply self-care strategies in managing re-traumatisation and vicarious trauma;
    • Identify opportunities to embed trauma informed care and practice in delivery.
